Observations
1. The sculptures are all very modern looking.
2. * Photographs are very simple but the objects and content create creative thinking.
3. In both fields of photography and sculpting the main theme I see is nature.
4. The videos were all very different and things I've never seen done with a camera.
5. Looking at your resume I can see you have worked and done many things in several different areas.    

Questions
1. Why in your sculpting is there never any bright or exciting colors used?
2. Why do you like to mix and mash similar photos together?
3. What do the chunks of metal symbolize to you?
4. * Why do you enjoy making things that are inanimate and not something that has life to it?
5. What was it like to sit and take pictures of the same spot/object but at different times?

Assignment 2

1. Damian, Michael, Ashley
- For the movement picture, the other objects in the photo don't really direct your eye towards a specific subject.
- Overall, the picture choices are pretty accurate and sensible.

2. Pasama's Group
- The pictures are accompanied by thorough and logical explanations.

3. Olivia's Group
- For the emphasis picture, the tree doesn't necessarily look emphasized within its surroundings.

4. Hazel, Ziona, Jessie
- For the variety picture, we feel that there could be a photo to better exemplify variety.
- The harmony picture may be more suitable for movement?

5. Anthony, Arielle, Alix
- We feel that your shape picture could show more examples, or have a more evident subject.

6. Taylor's Group
- We feel that grass and cement together may not necessarily be the best example of harmony.

7. Maddie's Group
- We were confused as to why you chose the picture you did for unity.  A more in-depth explanation would help to make sense of it.

Assignments 3
Laptop

1. Weighs about 5 or 8 pounds.
2. Requires electricity to power and run.
3. Hundreds of thousands of pixels to make up the screen.
4. Mouse pad is a square.
5. Has the entire alphabet on the key board.
6. Has a product logo of apple.
7. Numbers 0-9 are on the key board.
8. The keys on the board have many secret uses for shortcuts. 
9. Is very smooth.
10. Makes a interesting metallic noise when rubbed.
11. Has an on off button.
12. There is a rubber axis like thing that allows for the screen to open and close.
13. Is cold to the touch but turns hot when being used for a long time. 
14. There is a circle on the top of the screen that has a camera in it. 
15. All shapes have a basis of square or rectangle.
16. Has a long black chip on the top of the screen. 
17. There are three outlet holes on the right side.
18. There are five outlet holes on the left side.
19. On the bottom there are 10 screws. 
20. Four black dots rest on the bottom.
21. These dots are made of rubber 
22. The dots are worn from use.
23. There is a small dent on the top of the laptop.
24. There is a fan on the inside that makes loud noises to try and cool down the hard drive. 
25. There is a white light under the keys which make them glisten and more visible.
26. The apple on the front is bright and white.
27. Has two holes for USB cord. 
28. Back corners are scratched and beat up from it being dropped.   
29. The lower deck taste very metal like and is cold on the tongue.
30. The screen taste weird and a bit sour.

39. When closed there is an indent in the center that allows for the screen to be lifted.

42. If the screen is held almost closed it looks like a mouth.
43. The screen is very thin.
44. The screen feels and looks like it is fragile.
45. If looked at on the side it cane form different types of angles. 
46. It can form a 90-degree angle, obtuse, and acute. 
47. The screen can’t bend to a perfect 180 degrees. 
48. Looks like it is a rectangular frisbee.
49. The space button is the biggest out of all the buttons.
50. Its got writing on the back.

 


Assignment 4
Color

The color royal blue is my favorite color as of right now. I like this color so much because it is everywhere and it is a calming color. Its cool and relaxing , not bringing to much excitement. This color is all around us in the day and it just works with me. 


Pre Zombie Apocalypse : 

- Its literally shelfs of small bagged goods and cans, probably in an Asian country of some sort. The rows seems to go on for ever and its is very organized. The pattern that appears is a row of cans and a row of bags. It looks like it is grouped into similar things as spices, cleaning, drinks. 

- The emotional impact of this photo is frustration and awe inspiring because it is very hectic and crazy. The emotions that come on when looking at this photo is overwhelming and confused because it just loos like a row of things repeating in various sizes and there is no indication of what is what and what isle contains what things. 

- Before the photograph was taken the shelfs were empty filled with workers trying to fill the shelfs as orderly and organized as they could. After the apocalypse it interrupts  the order and causes the shelfs to start depleting when everyone franticly takes all necessary goods off of the shelfs. 

- The photograph is trying to convay that one day that we are going to become overpopulated as the population keeps growing and that we need to be organized as a society in order to succeed and have people live good and successful lifes.

1. I like the use of black and white filter
2. There is more then one thing going on in each picture
3. Interesting how each year is somewhere different
4. There are always a lot of shadows and hard lines in the pictures
5. Always has at least one person in the picture

1. Lots of Bible refrences.
2. Biblical figures are used often.
3. Interesting use of plates.
4. A lot of feet are in the sculptures.
5. Plane but eccentric.
